My Mom and her One Room School

This is Mom and the one-room school in Austerlitz, NY, where she started first grade (there was no kindergarten). Mom was one of the last children to attend this school. Within a year or two, children from Austerlitz and surrounding villages were bussed to Chatham Central School. 

The picture was taken sometime around 1996 on one of Mom's excursions around Upstate New York (meaning the Chatham, Spencertown, Austerlitz area, the Saratoga Springs area, etc.) and Vermont.
